My favorite Etsy finds

Now that I've been officially cut-off from spending for awhile (kinda went a little nuts getting a fall/winter wardrobe for the Izzo, what can I say?) thought I'd share a few of my favorites off Etsy that I will only enjoy looking at and not buying ;)

Mooo

I've been a fan of the Australian-based company Mooo for their custom names puzzles. I originally came across their store off a Goggle add on a website.

Today I saw they have free downloadable cards for Australian Father's Day. I love the "Milk & Cookies" and "2 Peas" designs. I emailed one for Grandma and printed one for Papa!

Sushi Shower Gift

I came across this awesome shower gift idea today via ohdeedoh:
The item is made of baby essentials (onesies, bows, socks, washclothes) put together for about $20! I am looking forward to pulling this out next baby shower I attend ^_^ Perhaps my excitement is due to my many years of anime-nerddom. Original concept came from Creative Dollar. Check out the blog! There are lots of other fun ideas to browse.

Retro Coveralls From Red Pajamas

Came across a giveaway on Posh Little today for these retro-styled overalls:

I think they are super cute! I can imagine Izzy zipping through the house in these. They are made by the Etsy shop red pajamas.

Blog & Shop Name

I have been kicking a few different names around for awhile. It started with Courtney Designs - already taken as an etsy shop name. Then I thought Baby Izzo Designs... but maybe that is too baby specific. Izzo Designs is a name of an online shop too. My husband suggested Coco's Dojo. I think it's really cute. For those that don't know, Coco is my family nickname. My little sis couldn't say Courtney for awhile, so she called me Coco.

If anyone is curious my new background was made from Japonizer - the Japanese pattern maker ^_^ Which I found out about from on How About Orange.

Cutie Pie

Izzo modeling the "Cutie Pie" onesie. Didn't get great shots of the design, but she was on turbo mode :)

Cute Charm Necklaces

Joshua talked about getting me a charm necklace for our anniversary, but he couldn't find any. Later on, we went into a jewelry store and saw some they were kinda lame. I came across this site today: http://www.heartandstonejewelry.com/gallery.php. I like the use of the hanging gemstones with the custom name charms. I wouldn't mind getting one of these :)

Ready to Take Orders

I am ready to take orders on any custom onesie, shirt, card, or painting request. I will post some more examples in the next couple of weeks. If you have a request, let me know! I am planning to set up an etsy shop soon with painted onesies that will also take custom requests.

Thanks,
Courtney

What do Tanzanian Girls Like?

I'm not sure myself. I figured girls universally like pretty flowers, right? We sponsor a child through Compassion, and I wanted to paint her a birthday card. I will have to write her to find out if she has a favorite animal and favorite color so I have more ideas for next year.

Additional Product Ideas?

I have looked for anything that Isabel could wear that says "I love Mimi" (the name my mom goes by), but have been unable to find anything. So I decided I am going to make her a onesie myself with some fabric paint. What other products do you wish you could find? What would you put on a onesie?

Custom Name Painting

I finally finished my daughter's room up. (Only took a year!) It took me awhile to find a bed spread I liked. I ended getting this quilt on sale at Pottery Barn Kids. I liked the idea of making a painting to coordinate with the bedding. What do you think? Is this something I could sell?
